Looks like you had the beach to yourself. I made it to my sons pool party and safely made it into a pool for the first time in a decade I think. Had a great time.

I must admit I hear the beach calling me. Birthday is only 7 weeks off. Plan to hit the beach by then for sure.

We are going to the local Nasa rocket club amateur launch on Saturday morning this weekend, at NASA to launch rockets At least 2 Renix Jeeps may be sighted there. But they will not be lifting off LOL.

No it's a Thursday, July 21st, but I could plan it for a weekend. I thought I did it early on a weekend last time? Trouble I had last time was my kids worked weekends. Maybe I should do a 7 day party this time :sunshine:

Summer of 2014 I was sure I was going to be pushing daisies by last years BD.

It was a Monday, but we started celebrating on Sunday. Original plan was to start on Saturday, but no one could make it. There was another event going on Saturday at Surfside, and I was not able to make it. It was a real struggle for me then to make it just to Galveston on Sunday and drive back Monday evening. One or two people were coming and got called into work at the last minute. My 3 kids were the only ones that showed up, on at Midnight sunday, one at 8 am and one at noon, and they missed each other.

The minute I got to the beach I got stuck in the dry sand, LOL and got rescued by a huge Ford Truck LOL, using my 3/8" nylon rope :sad1: and some real physics skills :greensmok LOL.

Exxon, I'm headed for a trip and won't be back until 3rd week of July... but would be ready to wheel. I still think we all need to get a big cabin at Hidden Falls to not "sweat" the weather Barnwell has AC cabins but smaller.
