oddly optioned xj's

The sunroof isnt factory. Its either aftermarket or dealer installed. No 97+ came from the factory with a sunroof.

That's what I thought, but the service procedures for the sunroof are present in the 2000 factory shop manual. It's also not that likely to be aftermarket; it's a Webasto.

My 2000 Sport has a factory tape deck. I think they stopped selling audio cassettes in about 1993.
I bought an 04 Acura TL, and it has a 5.1 surround sound system with a touchscreen nav in it and it plays DVD-Audio discs, pretty decent sounding setup for stock, and it has a tape deck. I think it's the only new car I have ever bought that had a tape deck. Weird. Makes me wish the DVD-Audio format had caught on because the system sounds great, if I can ever find a cassette I will have to see how it sounds in it. :laugh3:

Any more pics? What about the interior? The white rims will look sweet...:sunshine:

I will get more pics soon. The interior isnt to bad. It cleaned up nicely and the carpet was replaced. The headliner needs to be redone but I will do that when I replace the sunroof track.

i ran accross a Cherokee the other day that was strangley optioned. It was a 94 Cherokee base model. two door, no wing windows, no rood rack, 2WD, 4.0, AW4, stripped down interior, but it had power windows, and door locks, with a factory alarm. the guy's aunt had ordered the bottom of the line Cherokee with power windows and power door locks and an alarm. ive never seen anything like that. :patriot:
