October run

I'm down for an october run. I hate to be a wuss, but I'd need something a stocker could do.

I'm up for it. Hopefully my junk will be alot less junky by then. I'm just waiting for the long arms right now. The 11th sounds good to me.

Something up North?

I would like to have a run up my way (Grass Valley). I didnt post anything because I wasnt sure how many were going to Moab. But if there are afew of us, I have put together some routes. They have a "mix" of everything in them, so stockers can have fun too. Let me know what weekend works best for you, and I'll put together some details.

So what can you put together, it's a 4 hour drive for me, then probably another hour to the trail head. Unfortuanately a trail a stocaker can do is not enough for me. Holister would have been really good too, I got that free top truck challenge video, the one with that really weak XJ. Made me :bawl:, anyway, So is there a place for all kinds, stock to modified near Grass Valley?

If not, then if you guys would like to come my way, we can do a tour in my neighborhood, Bald Mtn, Swamp, Dusey, Mirror, Coyote/Red Lk.

The 11-14 Oct really works really well for me.

We are heading to Meadow Lake on Oct. 11th...... Spending the day & night exploring.... If anyone would like to join, let me know.

How are you going in to Meadow? Fordyce, Bowman, Truckee? Im thinking about eagle lakes (off 80) this Sunday. But can try for the 11th too. ;)

I'm interested too, still got a stocker with towpoints, and now straps and a hi-lift. Dunno if I have Columbus day off, but I should.

I would like to do Fordyce, but isn't that trail for more of the Modified Xj's? Anyway, it''s your guys call, I just want to do something on the more challenging side since I'll have to drive 5 hours, :bawl:, I know I'm doing it again.

We are planing on going in Saturday around noon from the 89 side, near Independence Lake (NPR 07). Figured Meadow Lake would be good, stockers can play on the loop and then there is the last winch hill for the crazies.

Ok, I have recently learned that there is going to be big Dodge meet in Hollister next weekend,(3,4,5th) They say 35 rigs total. Are we interested in meeting up with them and putting them to shame? This will be a 2 day event with camping on the premisis. I thought it might be fun since we are not going to Moab, we can still take part in a large gathering, also Hollister is a place that meets all the needs from mild to wild trails, and there will be PLENTY of rigs to run with and watch. I am working on creating a route from Emigrant Gap to Foresthill, but since I didnt get a chance to pre-run it yet, I dont want to lead a group there . This hollister thing is just a suggestion, I'll do whatever the 'group" wants to do.NAXJA
