I regret to inform everyone that my gray 1987 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer with a 4.0L has just died. The vehicle led a great life before it death on Saturday March 27, 2004. The vehicle was owned by only one owner (me) for it's entire life and had it's share of good and bad days. It died due to a clutch failure which became un-economical to repair. The Jeep had over 215,000 miles on it, which included no serious overhauls or repairs throughout it's life. It leaves behind a family of three and a younger 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L which has replaced it as my off roading vehicle. The 1987 will be missed, but better things are to come with the 1997's stiffer unibody.

I have a graveyard that you can lay it to rest in. Due to the tragic loss to your family, it is only fair to not charge you for the plot.

what are you going to do with the '87 I have a '87 auto that needs a steering column and a radiator. I am in Tulsa and could pick it up
DIG IT!

Sheesh..... Show a little respect, the family member just passes away and already the vultures are out scavenging :skull2:

Now... To get onto business, I have an 89 that I need a few parts for, do you plan on parting her out? :yelclap:

It's not scavenging, its organ transplanting. There is a limited amount of time those organs are good, and that clock is ticking. :looney:

I am tired of seeing my XJ suffer I have had it on life support twice now just to crank the engine but that was short lived.
He just lays in the back yard with flat tires and dreams about the days when he could wheel with the best of them.
