I bought this NP242 T-case from a 
member in 2010 but ended up having mine rebuilt instead, so I didn't use it. The member I bought it from told me it came out of a '92 XJ, that it has somewhere between 100,000 and 115,000 miles on it, and that it worked fine when removed from the donor vehicle. It has a 23-spline output shaft. For some reason, the identification plate is not on the unit, so please look carefully at the pictures and make sure its what you need. Since I never installed it and have never taken it apart, I can't confirm its condition from personal knowledge.
I overpaid for it, but I'll take any reasonable offer to get rid of it. I can deliver it to Moab October.
