NP 242 with H&T SYE

I have a 21 spline NP242 out of an 88 XJ for sale. Has a RE H&T installed on it.

I never ran this Tcase, but as far as I know it ran fine without problems before it was pulled. I am pretty sure it has less than 1k miles on it.


Shifts perfect, clean, and has a SYE already installed!

$150 OBO, located in the East Bay. Willing to meet halfway within reason.

will it directly replace the 231 in my 2000 xj, or will i have to replace shafts, linkage, electronics, etc.?

It will not work in a 2000 due to different input splines. I believe the break point is pre 91 used 21 spline, post 91 used 23 spline.


Otherwise, I think everything else is the same. You will have to swap out the cover showing which gear you are in, but it would work if you didnt have a 2k.
