that is why im bringing the rv. that way i don't have to drive home after the trail. i can run a half mile down the road for some hot food and beer.

I am thinking about getting a KOA cabin Friday evening. They are rustic, You bring your own sleeping bag, but they have heat and electricity. It has a double bed (dibs) and a set of bunk beds. It runs $52 for the night for up to two people and $5 for the third.

Does anybody want to share a cabin, say $15 a person?

Looks like there's going to be a decent amount of folks staying at the KOA near Johnson's Village on Friday night.

Looks like we're gonna start drawing names out of a hat at 9 AM as well.

You folks will get a hoot out of this. I had the wife make the reservations at KOA. Come to find out, she made them for this weekend. So tonight on the spur of the moment, I find myself in a cabin at Buena Vista.

Going to sleep in then see how fast you can run Chinaman's without the crowd. If anybody is in the area and wants to do a trail Saturday, post up. Otherwise it is going to be a nice restfull quiet day.

The Co.Springs folks will be meeting at the Safeway on West Colorado Ave at 6-630AM on Saturday.

Denver folks haven't firmed it up yet.

Also. Some folks are going up on Friday Night and staying at the KOA, some of us more mellow types with kids will be at the Ruby Mtn camping area ($12/night) just a little bit south of the gate to the trailhead.

Denver Group will be meeting at the Morrison Conoco Station [/url]@ Morrison Rd. & C-470 at about 6:30 and head out no later than 7 am.
Colorado Springs Group will be meeting at the Safeway on West Colorado and leaving at 6:30AM

Ok, I am really looking forward to hitting Chinamans again this year BUT if there are between 50 & 60 rigs showing up for the run...........can you say fuster cluck!!!! Murphy's law WILL prevail and there will be numerous broken parts and stuck chucks!! It took the better part of a day to get 5 heeps through earlier this year... well we did picknick at the whalestail for an hour or so!!.....................
