To start off and being honest, the way new users are being treated around here is uncalled for, just because someone is a member doesn't give them the right to be a prick!

that part cant really be controled. like scott said. "have no expectations when going into a bar." it pissed me off around here for a couple years. it finaly clicked to me one day, after wasting my time on clubs that really dont give a f***. i think part of the resion it is so hostile is because thoes of us that are here take a great deal of pride in the chapter. some just dont know the best ways to express it.

The lack of respect for local vendors/supporters, Whatever your issue is.... Nobody cares, keep your opinions and BS to yourselves.

i love the vendor feedback. we know all too well around here who and whoNOT to take you r jeep/$$$ to.

Would love to make this my first event. Have somethings I need to take care of on the jeep first, but hopefully I'll be able to do alot over spring break.

On another note, if there was a business that wanted to support/sponsor NW Fest what kind of role could they play/fulfill for the event? It's a new fab/repair shop, they currently are not on . However, if I can aquire their PR account I'm going to try and get them invovled.

last year the rangers said we couldnt have a raffle because it was "exchanging money on gov property" so they said we couldnt do it. how is that going to play out this year?

i missed the raffle last year because of the damn 19 hour snow extravaganza we decided to get lost on...

The raffle couldnt be held last year due to the lack of a permit. The BOD is working on attaining this permit for this year so a true raffle can be done

right. its not legal without prior authorization.

The raffle couldnt be held last year due to the lack of a permit. The BOD is working on attaining this permit for this year so a true raffle can be done

right again. we have already file the ppw. it just takes a while to get it back and approved. we already have the weekend reserved for us, we are just working on the legalities of the rest. which includes what trails and when we want to run them, approximately how many people and vehicles will attend, how many campers, how much we will "make", what will be exchanged etc. there is a lot that goes into this, and all of which we take care of for everyone. that way you just show up have fun and hopefully win something

Just under 2 weeks to go and no thread has been started yet in the event section for designated trail runs. Just wondering if this is being planned still or with all the road wash outs is there going to be a different approach this year? :dunno:

Sounds like there will be 2 groups each day. One group to run the more difficult trails and one to run easier trails. Havnt heard anything on which trails will be run though
