Roverbill,
Right on, I was just up there Sunday. Wouldn't you know it, a big tree had fell across the road just before jeep trail 98 and 107. Worse yet, no saw. So that will be next weekend's project...Let me know when you go up next time

hehe, maby I used the wrong word....but what equipment is required we bring IM first aid, fire ex., etc...or does it matter? I just know some of the group runs we need to have specific stuff with us

Damn Hans, quit being so easy on the new guys. We could have gotten the kegs taken care of.

Ya, these guys do have their requirements.

I may be new to the NWC but I am definitley not new to wheelin trips.....I just ask because every group has a different list of crap you're required to have before you go.

hey any chances someone can bring a spare cb for this run? Mine just took a crap completely. and im trying to get the overheating fixed and arb's working and the......... So i think it will be awhile for i can afford a new one.

Dingo

Hey understand at leasted you asked before ASSuMEing. Something I should add to the list is Shovel and Ax, (for people who dump garbage) I am pretty sure in Washington you are required to have an ax and shovel for forest fire prevention. And it is a ticket-able offence. Someone back me up or it will be considered SPOBI.

I don't have a cb but I have a few frs radios that I use when wheeling as long as someone with a cb has one too you stay in the loop. I'd be happy to lend you one.

Not meaning to say you are new to Jeepin. Even the newbie in a given group can be messed with. Then again, anyone here can get harassed.

also from yakima....

hope to not have to work that weekend so i can come play. i need some solid towhooks front and rear to fit the rest of the required gear, any suggestions?

For the rear i would think a good trailer hitch should suffice, otherwise im out.

For the front, well thats another story, the cheapest option is to find the factory brackets in a wrecking yard, but good luck, the XJ pickins are kinda slim. the other option is to post in the wanted section and maybe someone has some they need to get rid of.

If you need the hooks themselfs let me know i don't have XJ specific hooks but ive got a bunch from just about everything else. And im in yakima.

yep, i have a solid hitch in the rear - i very well might need some of those hooks from you though, unless i can dig around in my crap and find some.

i'll let you know.

i just paid to join naxja so maybe i'll be cool and have a sticker by then!!!

Let's see. I have a Tow hook for my Reciever I never use. Might sell it if you are interested.

For the front backets...

IN a junk yard, for us, the brackets are worth more than the hooks. Salvage yards usually don't inventory them. One yard over here towards Puyallup had about 4 sets of brackets that could be pulled off. If the hooks are gone? So what, I think the tow hooks run $10-20 new at a larger 4wd parts shop.

If you need a Rear Skid plate, I have an extra. I will trade for something such as usable parts for my XJ or beer. I am not picky. Technically it is my cousin, he should pick what type of beer.

I'm planning on having a BB and some 30x9.5s on in time for NW Fest. I'll probably only have 1 day, though. Any idea what day you'll be around the funny rocks/moon rocks. I've seen pictures but would really like to check it out.

Will be at the rocks on sat.
Don`t know a time that will depend on the group your with.

I'm looking at getting tires towards the end of the month. I've got so much going on right now I can't work on anything but I am interested in what kind of tires you have.

Saturday sounds good. I'll just show up at the campground or wherever you're staging in the morning.
