Nomination thread for SoCal Chapter VP

Nominations are open for SoCal Chapter positions! We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic members who can get the job done and grow this chapter!

1. Please make sure you discuss your nomination first with the person you're nominating and make sure they're willing to run.
2. Please put the name of the person you want to nominate for the office of the SoCal Chapter Vice President.
3. The nomination needs to be seconded and then accepted in order to be considered valid.

Nomination process is open only to current :: members (red names). Please limit your posts in this thread to nomination/second and acceptance. Any discussions outside of that will be deleted. Nominees are welcome to start separate threads to talk about their candidacy.

Sorry guys, as much as I would love to accept and run for VP I am afraid at this time my involvement with other clubs might complicate things a bit.

So after much debate I must regretfully decline the nomination.

I would love to run for VP believe me I had to think about this for a long time, I am just not sure if all the members would understand my involvement with other clubs. As it could be seen as a conflict of interest.

not allowed by our bylaws.

We will have to nominate them again and vote.

not at all, but I lets just say next year Lost Jeeps wins for most AAT hours again. Would naxja members not have a problem with me going up representing Lost?

Obviously any work done at a naxja event or trail would go to naxja.

I know it is probably not a huge deal.
