NJ trials

Hey whats up guys wondering if there are any trials in NJ/NY/PA close to where I am located which is near Giants stadium. I am not sure of any places to wheel around here. Just looking for a place to have fun that not to far thanks guys

I would be interested in places to wheel around there too, I am not far, but I go to school down around there, and I cant think of anything better when a class is canceled than to get some wheelin done!

Sorry to disappoint, but, other than in the Pine Barrens, there is no LEGAL public property wheeling in NJ.

I know there are guys that swear otherwise and have their "secret" little places to play - but that basically is still trespassing and makes you subject to big fines. But, worse than that, it continues to hurt the image of our sport and such bad publicity, or trashed woods, makes it even more unlikely to ever expand on potential wheeling in Jersey, even for the establishment of play-to-pay parks like Paragon.

Other than a couple of hour ride to Paragon or Rausch Creek in Pennsy, or a trip down to Wharton State Forest to explore the sand trails, just pray for a LOT of big snowstorms!

there are a couple little spots that are way up north in bergen county that are pretty fun and are hard enough to keep someone entertained until the next trip west. I played a little when I had a full sized Blazer K5, but havent had the time to take the XJ up there. supposedly one is like state owned wasteland that is looked at as everything is cool as long as we stay out of the river (protect the water from our leaky rear mains I guess)

hey im from bergen county..a friend of mine has some property in the blairstown area, its nothing special just some place to pull the lever...might be able to have a few ppl wheel there also..if interested i can find out.. im aslo looking to go to paragon for the first time, in october one sat...anyone interested in goin?

I run the pines quite often its the only legal place that I know of. As for a trip to Paragon I'm a member of another board that is running a trip in mid october if anyone is interested send me a PM.

I won't ask you to spill any secrets about the location(s) of private trails, but the key question is -- IS IT LEGAL? If you don't KNOW that it's legal to wheel there, please do not use the forums to promote it. There are few enough places in the northeast to wheel legally. We do not need -- and cannot afford --- the bad publicity that comes from people wheeling where it isn't legal.

Cool.

Given that it is privtae, though, it would be best to not give out the location on any forums. If there's going to be a run there, post directions to a convenient meeting point somewhere nearby but not TOO near, and then lead the group in from there.
