I'm workin on replacing my front cover and carb. Hopefully I'll have it all done by "the" weekend. With a little luck, I'll be able to get my rig running right and still be able to afford some go-go juice so I can go with you guys!

No .I won`t be there.We have another outing to go to in Centrailia.
I did the roads up to the Naches Trail last sat.Not ready for trail bounce.
My ribs and I are getting along ,we have dissagreements.
I need to make contact with somebody from the west side that is going to Little Naches ,to take a pair of chairs back to SAMS 88 ,Bruce,from the NWFest outing.

And the bad news is......i'm not going to make it. After getting my front cover changed out, While re-installing the harmonic balancer, the threads in the crankshaft stripped out. So now I'm going to plan B. Buy a newer XJ, strip all the goodies off the old one and put 'em on the new one. Hopefully all this wont take too long but we'll see. Peace, out.

what about using a helicoil to try and repair it temporarily. Or better yet build a stroker with it. Of course if you buy a new jeep and the old broke down, beat up, worn out, motor needs a good home i'm sure i can help you with that.

Dan and Jerry want to hold off until the Oct run to Naches. Jerry's lockers aren't installed yet and on top of that, both Dan and Jerry say they don't have the spare bucks for gas.

The wife and I are on our way Friday and Saturday to visit my mother and sister over in Moscow, ID.

Well, my tires are in town, I just have to meet the FedEx Freight to get them. I should have them and get them mounted up tomorrow. I also need to figure out my stupid fan. The motor is good, but the blade won't come off. Plus I need a new blade, otherwise I'm running on one fan and the jeepster likes to get hot after abuse.
