Minor update. I bought some RC drop brackets, RE1665 track bar mount and corresponding cross brace. I have the drop brackets already, waiting on the rest of the parts to come in. Only other parts I am going to need for the front are shocks. I'm planning for Bilstein 7100s. As for the back, I dont have any springs, shocks, or shackle relocators yet. Only thing I have is my 2in adj. RC shackles. I'm Waiting on getting the front suspension done then I am going to focus on my 8.8 build.

how much lift are you going for?
2" shackles, maybe .5" from taller perches on the 8.8 and tubes, you'll be around 2.5". so maybe a 2-4" pack depending on where you want to be between 4.5 and 6.5" ?

Sorry Tim, thats too big for what Im after. I'm trying to keep my rear leafs with as little arch as possible. I'll probably end up with around a 3inch leaf pack in the rear or less.

So some parts came in today. My RE1665 track bar mount and the cross member. Pretty excited, now I can install all the suspension components minus shocks.

So last night I started to weld up the exhaust manifold for the renix. I've never done that before so it was deffinetly a fun experience. Should finish it tonight. I've also accumilated a handful of parts that I didnt post pictures of haha. Here they are:

Here is my new track bar mount. Bought it from Serious Offroad, reasonable prices, shipping time was normal.

Bought some RC drop brackets of XjChuekin. dirty, but all in good condition still.

I picked up this grant steering wheel from XjChuekin as well. It measures 13inch in diameter. 2inchs smaller then stock. My 91 came with a 11.5inch grant steering wheel. This will replace that.

I pulled this deck out of my BMW when I got rid of it. I installed it in my 91 just to find out ALL the speakers are blown out haha. Eventually it will be in the 89. Deck is a JVC KD-R820BT. Bluetooth, iPod controls, remote, blah blah blah.

Thats all for parts now.
Oh, I ordered new headbolts from headbolts.com Hopefully they come in soon. Id love to get the top end put back together on the Renix.

Oh shit, totally forgot to show you how GREAT my week started off. I go to my shop monday morning to find out the water main broke. Flooded out my office and a good portion of the shop, not to mention it brought up a crap ton of sand and got it all over my floors, driveway and everything. Broke through the concret and went to start digging, my shovel went down 3 feet in water. Shittay! Heres some pics.

So my week started off GREAT on Monday . Well, yesterday was a continuation of greatness! I'm so lucky! At 3:30 I tried to close one of my overhead doors so I could leave for a service call. Well, short story made long.....the damn thing came out of on of the tracks partially, the cables slipped off the spring reels on both sides and the damn door fell! Stopping just as I got my arm untangled from the out of control chains. Amazing week so for right?
Any who, at least I don't have any bed liner on my hootus. I did manage to get some work done on the 89. Jonnie Walker came over to help last night. Here is some pictures for my Not-A-Blog.
