new rig (Black Betty)

Crap, I forgot to tell you I can't make the con on your trip. I'll be at gold lake from 6/26-7/5 and to try to fit the con in same week to cut the gold lake trip short would be too much driving. If you can come up to GL between those dates it'd be great to wheel with ya, bring the fam. We'll hopefully be at the beach campsite as we usually get it for this holiday.

Bushing question. When I cut down the sleeve in the poly bushing for the track bar I cut it a little more narrow than the width of the bushing. When I tightened it up it put additional pressure on the bushing and is very stiff to move in any direction. Is this or will it be an issue? Does the sleeve need to be exactly the same width of the bushing?

No worries man. I doubt I can make it up there that week but I'll try to catch you out on the trail later this summer.

The FAM does love Gold Lake area. Have fun!

Probably want that sleeve as snug as possible. It will probably be fine for a while but I would plan on swapping it for a longer sleeve sooner than later. unless the mount clamped in enough and is toght against the sleeve. How short are we talking ?

Probably and 1/8" on each side. Seems I hit the sleeve when cranking the bolt down but it is possible that the resistance I felt was the poly compressing. We'll see for now I guess. Before I tightened it all up the front was very soft and now all the bolts are tight it is so stiff it does not move much even with me on it

Shitty. Our JKS spacers fit snug.

Mine were only an 1/8" or so wider that Jon's stem mounts so I put them in the vise to fixe the issue. They don't sit 100% flush with the spacers but should be good enough.

I am also making major progress today! I hope I can keep it up. I would like to drive it this week so there are no surprises next weekend

Oh yeah? Im super jealous

so whats left for the rubicon?
