Does that pillow cut itself?

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Yes he wants a medal, he wants everyone to know that he adopted his dog.

I've got an idea, everyone just adopt a dog. Ban Greyhound racing, that will save us from having to hear about adopting Greyhounds and how abused they are:bawl:.

i dont need you to speak for me

Looks like a mastiff.

I enjoy duck.

I would adopt a grey hound or another rescue dog but I have had goldens all my life and I like their their personalities.... even though they tend to have a short life.

Ecksjay: If you are eating them is it really considered for sport?

Nominated = Jneary, seriously dude, we get it, you are awesome for adoption a Grayhound, and we are all now better educated about their plight. Let it go now. I adopted our beagle because he was going to the shelter otherwise where I believe they get a week before being put down. Can I have a medal too?

They'll run until they die, if we let them.

That's how my dog is out in the desert. And now I can only take her out early, have to get her home by 8am or so, she could chase the rabbits all day if I let her. Damn I hate the desert!!

my bag of hammers GSP will chase anything.....granted she's only like 6 months old, but still.

she wont listen either, till you shock the crap outta her. that so far has been the only teaching tool i've found that works.

tried for 2 weeks to get her to shake.....incapable of grasping this concept

Yea, my beagle mix was the same way. We got him a year old, and stubborn does not begin to describe him. Sit took a long time, and he still does not quite understand lay down most of the time.

she does sit well, and lay down about 50% of the time.

everything else is a lost cause

My pit bull was the same way but he realized he's fast and can run away if he's going to be punished. So a shock collar was really the only way. He would jump on our kitchen counter and grab something then run to his kennel. He knew he was in trouble but he knew we couldn't get him in there too. little brat

My girlfriend taught my German Sheppard how to shake. It was the worst Idea ever now when you yell at him he tries to shake. when he see's you he tries to shake. If you catch his paw hell shake with the other paw too so hes standing on your arm. the more you yell at him for it the more he tries to.

He's still a pup though hopefully he grows out of it.

hah try Dobermans. They average 8 years. Generally, the larger the breed, the shorter the lifespan. Great Danes average 7 years.

I guess that's why terriers make good companions; they average 15 years. Personally, I wouldn't mind getting some Manchester Terriers; they resemble Dobermans, but they live a heck of allot longer.
