Here is Sophie... got her from a puppy mill rescue that a pet store held, I got her when she was 9 months, and now have had her for 2 years. She loves to go for Jeep rides, but hates when I leave the pavement.

husky/lab?

We think he's malamute/lab. The 2 brown eyes would indicate malamute rather than husky, unless he got the brown eyes from the lab side, and his coat is much coarser than a normal husky coat whereas malamutes usually have coarser coats. The people at the shelter really didn't know for sure though, so it's all a guess.

This is my best buddy Diesel, purebred boxer. He is my first dog, birthday present last year from my wife. He has so much energy but is loads of fun, and loves goin for rides in the Jeep.

Boxers FTW!

Here's my buddy Sadie:

She doesn't do too well on Jeep rides (maybe that's because every time she rides in either one of the Jeeps it's usually to the vet? lol). She lives at home with my Mom and Step Dad. If my stupid apartment complex would let me have pets i'd bring her down with me for a few weeks and take her up to Uwharrie for a day or something. I've had two dogs, one Greyhound and then Sadie and while both were/are great dogs, Sadie is definitely a lot more faithful to me and the folks. Got her when she was around 1 year old from the shelter and she's about 6-7 right now.

does he still ride like that? lol

My old boy Chaser, who passed in 2003.

CraigC, that's a beautiful dog (there's a lot of them in this thread!) Not quite sure what he is, but looks like he's got some husky in him(in spite of the same-colored eyes. I'd say husky/samoyed, but he's not furry enough for that(We used to have a husky/samoyed and a husky/lab, they both had undercoats-LOTS of shedding)

WOW! I never expected to see so many great dogs in this thread! Thanks all of you for sharing your pups of today and yesterday!

Thanks. He loves having his picture taken. Originally I was looking for a husky to adopt, that's how we found this guy. I guess in the end it doesn't matter what he is, he's a great dog. :)

Talyn, those dogs are beautiful!

Thanx. They were great dogs. Omega was a dumb blond, but sweet and Jonas was too smart for his own good. Jonas also had aortic valve stenosis, which we had to give him coumadin for. They were #4 and #5 of the goldens we had.
