My GFs 08 Liberty and my 2000 Cherokee. Whyd they discontinue the XJ!!

Here are some comparison pics, hope they arent tooo large.

with 3.2 inches of lift and 31s my xj sits with the same roof/hood/window lines as her liberty. Ground clearance is another story tho!! :roflmao:

and her moms 05 Grand Cherokee Limited.. Every bell and whistle. full skids hooks and tow package.. when she gets rid of it I want to buy it.

its a treat to drive, HEMMI!!!! I can only imagine the 6.1l hemis!!



best part is, the gf gave me permission to make my jeep "as ugly as i want" :clap: relocate fenders and 33 muds??



The liberty is nice, rides smooth and has a bit of pep. mpg is about the same as my XJ when it was stock (16-18-21mpg) but no where near as much power!!

The similarities are eerie. Kinda makes you wonder if they knew they screwed up by discontinuing the XJ. I'm sure I'll be flamed, but I don't mind the Liberty's, both new and old.

I couldn't stand the first generation of Libertys either, I thought they were hideous, but this 2nd gen. is slightly better. I'd be interested in seeing one of these KKs lifted before I make too many judgements one way or the other.

I don't think that looks too bad at all. The white out on the tires definitely helps offset so much black. The body doesn't look near as dumb as the 1st gen lifted Libs do.

Agreed. For all the hell people give them, they're really not that bad of a vehicle at all. Just have to know its limitations.
