Okay, I finally joined. I've been hanging around the forum for the past 6 years and usally do the Swamp Lake run each year so some of you already know me a little. For those that don't know me at all: I'm retired military (Navy) and live in the East Bay.
I've been off-roading in one form or another since I was old enough to sit next to my Dad in our '58 Willy's Wagon. I have a daily driver that is also my trail rig so I try not to break anything. I only live 4 1/2 miles from BART, but I still don't want to walk to work.
I have a '91 XJ that is running 6" lift, 35" MTR's and 4:88 gears with a Detroit in the rear and an open front. I still have the stock axles under it with a 30 spline kit in the rear.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and hope to see ya all on the trail.
