Hey Everyone -

I recently purchase my second Jeep Cherokee. I had to sell my last one for work reasons a few years ago, but got back into one this past Autumn.

2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport
91,000 miles
Chrysler 8.25 Rear Axle

It's essentially rust free save for two very minor spots I'll be cleaning up soon.

The most exciting thing I've added so far - which is currently a very short list of items - is an original set of Cherokee Sport leather seats I pulled from a totaled Jeep for $125. They're in great condition and have heating elements for the front buckets.

I'm putting together plans for a modest build that will enable me to have fun on the weekends but still use it as my daily driver.

Welcome, that is a sweet XJ. I can't say I've every seen leather that wasn't from a Classic or Limited. NICE!

Thanks. I went to look at some wheels and fog light assembly on that totaled Jeep and left with a set of leather seats instead. Real shame that guy put his Jeep in a ditch; it was a fairly clean Sport with 80,000 miles on it.

Hey Everyone -

My Jeep was stolen last night. While those leather seats obviously aren't the only set on the planet, they are very rare. If you see any for sale send me PM so I can follow up.

Had that Jeep for 3 months - more than a little pissed right now.
