New Guy From NWI

You can make it out at Badlands (Attica,IN) in its current condition as long as it has some tow points and a flag!! Thats how many of us started out. It is possible to go through completely stock. I'm sure a few will chime in with their experiences.

Yeah as long as you have tow points and use a little caution you'll do alright. I'm sitting on 235's( FOR NOW MUH HA HA HA HA) I would highly suggest a set of rock rails or your rockers will end up looking like XJosh95's! :D

Yeah, my rockers are pretty well done. NOW I get sliders... But as far as being stock goes, I've gone to a couple wheelin events completely stock. In fact, I ran smaller than stock tires because, well, I'm cheap and they were free. There's stuff for everyone. And if you were still leery we could find someone for you to hop in and ride shotgun with, I would have no problem volunteering for that job. I'll be a little more than stock by the time WF Oh-10 rolls around, but not much.

Just don't use my performance at RedBird as a deterrent. Stupid happens.

Welcome. I would suggest getting rocker rails first before anything else and a gas tank skid if it does not have one. then wheel it a few times stock and see what you want to do. It is amazing what a non-lifted/moded Jeep can do.

BTW I have an 01 Black anniversary edition with 3" lift and rocker rails, front warrior bumper with 4 lights mounted on it. I am in Highland a lot. Also you may see my son's 92 red XJ with 5.5 lift and 33 AT's; currently has a busted exhaust so you can hear him coming.

Any particular place you guys frequent? There's a lifted black XJ waaay down the street from me all the time in Highland, but I think the owner lives there. I believe I may have seen your son at Wendy's a few days ago.
