Hi, I'm Ryan and I live in Northwest Indiana. Just thought I'd say hi, not to mention get my post count up so I can post in FS threads. I've had the Jeep for a year now, but just recently joined here. I look forward to learnin all kinds of ill shit. My 99 XJ is stock now, but hopefully I can get working on that soon.

Welcome to the MWC! Give us some specs on what the Jeep looks like, so we can keep an eye out for ya on the street. Should do something that makes it stand out from the "normal" XJ's that way its easier to spot ya.

Welcome!! Just a friendly warning hanging with us will cause you to modify your rig beyond believe.

Well, its a black 4 door 99, bone stock. It has a White Sox front plate. Actually, my girlfriend is driving it right now, since it started out as my winter beater. My parents wouldnt let me just let it sit at the house during the summer, so I gave it to my girlfriend to drive and insure, so that I can still drive it whenever she comes over. I have a 240sx that I store in winter and drive in the summer, but I ended up liking the Jeep more than I thought I would so I'm going to start modifying it for this winter. I'm thinking just a 2" lift and some 30" tires for now. Thanks for the welcome guys.

I never thought i would believe that statement about my own. 2 years ago i had 2"budget lift and 30's, now i'm at 4.5" and 33's. Its a little thing called "inchitis". Once you got it, it never goes away!

Hi.

No post count requirements for chapter FS posts.
Forum Users are not able to post in the National FS no matter how many posts you have.

Thanks for the welcomes everybody. Sorry to bump this semi-dead thread, but I have one more quick question. Is there a way to set subscriptions to automatic when I post in a thread, or is that feature available to members only? I don't see the option.

Welcome! I'm not too far from you. I'm glad to see so many new people joining up! Hopefully you can attend some events, I highly recommend it from personal experiences.

Welcome aboard man!

I'd love to, as soon as I un-stock this thing.
That's not even close to being an excuse. Stockers are wheelable, and.....if you still don't feel comfortable, we'll find you a seat.

Pig Gig would be a great time to meet alot of MWC folk.

welcome! yea, i didnt think i would do anything crazy to mine either. after a week on this forum i caught myself in the act sawzall-ing my fenders. itll happen....... i give him 3 weeks :wave1:
