yes indeed. do you know if they will continue production on em, or if its a limited time type of thing? if they wont be around forever i might have to move it up on the parts list :D

Kartek now has the cells in stock so I think it'll be around for awhile.

Eric the jeep's looking great and I like the jack mounts. Have you test driven with the new
cell? I'm wondering how big of a difference lowering the CG is gonna make. I might have to step up and put your old cell in the prerunner =P

32 gallons of love. Beautiful.

It leaves me wondering if Fat City is back in business?

I haven't driven it since, but they're out testing with it this weekend and said it made a huge difference with center of gravit and helped alot with a valving issue the rear shocks have right now.

It's not the lightest coming in around 45 lbs. We use an Aluminum jack from Costco that has to be near 10 lbs. lighter and 1/2 the price.

Austins a great kid and a responsible racer, but not MY kid...

Opps, my bad. I thought you were Racing Ron on Pirate. :o

I will have to look into the Costco jack. Beats the heck out of a hilift!

I just can't imagine how nasty the leaf pack has to be in order to deal with that kind of weight when the tank is full, not to mention how much different it would feel with the tank gettin' low on fuel!
(Any link to your suspension build?)

We ran the leafs that came from Full Traction for our first year of racing way back when. Once they sagged out we started using Deaver's. The Deaver's were quite a bit softer and made a huge difference to the car for the good.

We can useually get about 1000 miles out of the leafs and then send them back to Deaver to be rebuilt and a new main leaf.
