Hello NAXJA! im new to the forum, and this is my first jeep. Ive been working on car for a long time and all my buddies are into the 4X4 scene but im going to take it easy here at first. bought this jeep as a tahoe ski vehicle to make the trip up hwy50 in the snow. its pretty damn clean, 129k miles, its got the part time T-case.

anyhow, looking for a set of tires... 235.75.15 is whats on there now but Id be game to upgrade to the rubicon rims if i can find a legit set. something thats a good all around tire but mostly want something that will handle snow. let me know if anyone out there has got anything laying around.

Like i said new to jeeps but Ive done a few LT1 swaps in street cars as well as numerous TPI swaps and mods. ill be asking a lot of questions im sure but im not helpless. good to find another great forum to keep me thinking outside the box.

Ill post up some pics later when im not at work.. haha but glad to be a jeep owner!

thanks in advance!

welcome to NAXJA.
you may want to try & hit our toy run at hollister hills off road park in 2 weeks to meet lots of us. it will be fun.
plus you can watch me trash my junk on the crazy new obstacles there.

ill try and make it if it doesnt conflict with opening day weekend at heavenly, northstar, or kirkwood.

i have a few vices but snowboarding is my true addiction, Im giving myself (my jeep) 6 months more of stock freedom before i try to bolt on a lift or start doing any major off road mods. i can be easily swayed so if im there with a crew and someone says " yeah but what will a stock jeep do..." i run the risk of making bad decisions haha. but ill see if i can get my buddy to tow his beast down.
