My jeep has been spewing fluid on my feet going up the speedometer cable, the inner seal is discontinued by jeep and unavailable.

Anyone have the seal or just a mechanical speedo housing? This is for a 90 XJ.

i have a non mechanical speedo gear if you want to borrow it to just plug it off so you can drive it Max, i have at least 2 of them laying around.

I got a electrical one that I will just throw in there, but was hoping maybe someone has a housing so I don't have to spend $30-50 for a complete assembly.

I might as well just throw the cluster away and make a all digital dash...

I'd like to see how you do it!

Call Kevin at NoHo Speedo, tell him Asa sent you. He can probably help you out no matter which direction you choose to go.

I think I have an old mechanical speedometer in the garage.

But... If you're pumping ATF through the speedometer cable I'd look at your transmission vent line, I'd bet it's blocked. Every time I've pulled a speedometer / cable it's been mostly dry inside.

The inner seal was bad, not even close to making a seal. If it still did it with a good seal I would be more worried.

Right now a GPS is planted on my gauge cluster.
