Need Info on this IFS MJ

in a similar thread 2 years ago, i said this was a shop (can totally see it in the pixels)
i stand by it, if it was any good, we'd know more about it.

the front end just doesnt look right for ride height, and i cant see the shocks coming out of the bed at the top like they would on a truck with link mounted rear shocks.

real or not, i challenge anyone to provide more pics, or it didnt happen! to make my post productive, i'll post these, as these are on a way nicer truck that actually exists (somewhere, not here)

i asked a friend who knows a thing or two. this was his take.

"Look at the rear links, for example. First thing I notice is that the shocks are mounted to two tabs located on the top of the trailing arm. The trailing arm height is about three times what it should be. And probably the worst of all is having the shocks mounted above the center line of the trailing arm. This is going to cause the arm to want to twist and flop over on its self. Having a bushing at the front will help with this but its still not good for the system as a whole.

Same deal with the beams, sort of. There is no need for a beam that is 14" tall and looks like a pirate sword.

If these are the two things I can see I can only imagine what the rest of its like. "

its funny how cool something can look but when you get into how wrong it could be.

Definatly true. You can pick any build apart.

And this site dosent have a lot of that.

party1:

XCM there is an XJ built just like that running around in San Pedro, its dark green. Next time i see him ill chase him down and assault him with questions :D

his name in DesertRangers is IBeamJeeper, he has been invited many times, and gets assualted with questions about his setup every time, I'm sure he's tired of it :D
