Need help: Front shock mounting ideas

Looks good. If you are going for jeepspeed style I wouldn't trust the flex for bumps idea. I would pull the springs and bump it before your shocks bottom when lifting whole axle at same time (not one side only). Other than that....keep it up!!!

Thanks for the advise dude! Ill see what I can do this weekend when i get it into some whoops. I really wish I could afford air bumps right now but unfortunately being in college, I have other things to spend money on that come first. With that being said, I really want to get the rear set up first because it is awful back there....

I run the Iron rock offroad springs and they work really good.. i mean i havent tried the deavers but they ride pretty nice to me..i guess ryan is going to have to take me on a test run in glamis so i can test the deavers. :D

yessir i love the deavers. i have stock valving on the 11 inch fox 2.0s i just bought and it handles great, havent really been out too much yet but when i get my air bumps in its smash time lol. heres how i lowered my shock mounts on the axle, i also plan on doin a t&j style upper mount soon.

Started by cutting the old perch out and welded in the new Ruff Stuff mounts I had laying around to the Currie LCA mounts

I havent done much testing yet however driving on the road feels better. the shocks seem to soak up bumps better. I still have to do a flex test with it to adjust my bumps and also to see if the shock is going to hit the mount at full droop. If it does, ill grind it down for more clearance. There is some space back there so it should be fine, but i will test it.

How did this end up working out? I'm about to order some RuffStuff tabs and am trying to decide between the paired tabs or the individual tabs. I like the ease and added strength of the paried tabs, but I'll get the individuals if you are running into clearance problems at full droop. Thanks.

They worked out great and i ran it pretty hard last weekend to test it out. i have a go pro video but i havent seen it yet. I def need to bump stop more tho and the passenger side mount hits the caliper at full lock :( However, other than that, I never bottomed out once and they felt sooooo much more stable up front. I didnt have any clearance problems at full droop either but it cant hurt to grind a little away anyway. I still want a stiffer coil tho these are very soft. I want something in the 200-215 range, that should help keep it from compressing so much without having to re-valve the Foxs
