Need Ford Tailgates

We have a few '94-'01 Ford F-250 plow trucks at work that need tailgates. Does anyone know where we could find some cheap?? (ie junk yards etc)

LOL - you plow guys must be hard on 'em..... There's a storage lot near mine where a snow removal company parks it's plow trucks...... and there's literally a pile of bashed up tailgates in their yard......

HAha no we just got a few former Qwest trucks from an auction and they had the camper shells on them with no tailgates. So when they go to auction they take the shells off of some of them and don't put tailgates on. Its hard to get a Jobox, ATV w/plow, 4 shovels, a walk behind spreader, 2-5gal gas cans, and a few bags of ice melt in an 8' bed with no tailgate to put down for extra room.

Hmmmm..... Somewhere, there's been an auction of a pallet loaded with tailgates.......

Try Colorado Auto Salvage (Santa Fe and Raritan). They buy up all the white truck beds from companies that install those contractor truck boxes and flat beds - they have a TON of 'em and may even be buying those extra tail gates from Qwest........ :dunno:
