NEED ASAP!!!!!

Well I go to role down the passanger side front window on the 98xj and sure enough the motor goes out and the window slides down and in on me right. WEll this happend to the driver side like two years ago. Now I need to find one fast and cheap ASAP. anyone have one they can part with?

I'm checking epay for one right now. I paid 50 bucks for a brand new one in the DC packaging last time hoping for another good deal.

anyone have any part #s on this thing to help me hunt one down. The dealer wanted like 200 or so for the part last time.

There is a link to window motors specific to a 98 4WD Classic, just to get an idea. I have no idea what your Jeep is, so you can change the search to be more specifc to your Jeep and get the right part numbers/prices. Not too bad... around $70ish with shipping, probably. Good luck.

The 98 is just a sport.
I need the motor and that runner assembly. That end blows out then you have to replace it aswell. found one on ebay

Cool. I've gotten a few parts from Ebay myself... I've always had pretty good buys. Sorry to hear the window broke... same thing happened to my dad's Jeep. I guess it's actually really common.

Yep they changed or from what I've heard the 97+ have I belive the same motor setup but a different track setup and it sucks for the most part. my 2001 xj is fine, but the 98 driver side went out like 2 years back and same thing now with the passanger side. Really ticks me Off.
Thinking of trading it in REALLY soon for a GC DD and swapping out the HPD30 in that to my lifted 01 xj. Need for sure to do that before trading it in. Just got alot of little things failing on it sooner than I thought it would.
