For Immediate release:

This is our third undertaking of building a Jeep Cherokee to be given away at our XJ Anniversary Celebrations.

The previous two were at the 20th Anniversary Event in 2003 and the 25th Anniversary Event in 2008.


The Build Team searched high and low, but we finally found the perfect starting point for our build. The platform we are beginning with is a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport Four Door. It has a 4.0L H.O. inline six engine, an AW4 automatic transmission, and a NV231 transfer case. It has a Dana 30 front axle and a Chrysler 8.25 rear end.

The build will consist of a long-arm suspension, larger tires, skid plating, heavy duty bumpers, a winch, and many other goodies that will make this jeep capable of a multi-day expedition through the wilderness.

A Portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Blue Ribbon Coalition

This XJ will be given away on October 11th, 2013.
