I bought an '92 XJ on ebay located in NJ for $600.00. I live in Oklahoma.

I was to fly into the Philadelphia International Airport but that was going to leave me about 40 miles from where I needed to pickup the Jeep. The guy I was buying from did not want to pick me up at the airport. Too much trouble he said.

I was looking at $80.00 to $100.00 for shuttle/taxi ride.

I posted on 3 different Bulletin Boards including .

was the only board I got a response from. 2 members did offer help.

John B was kind enough to pick me up at the airport and drive to the meeting place so I could pickup the Jeep. He rearranged his schedule to pick me up in the middle of the day. Then when my flight arrived early he rushed his schedule so he could pick me up.
John B saved me alot of money and did so just because I was a member of .

If he had not been willing help, I do not know what I would have done. The members here, especially John B, make this board a great community that is willing to help each other.

Chip....your very welcome! Like i said, someday, somehow, return the favor to a member/user.

Personally i dont distinguish between members/users, and i dont pressure people to donate. If you feel that is worth the donation and you reap benefits from the Org then a donation might be something you want to do. That's entirely up to you.

I also dont feel your obligated to join just because someone helped you out. It's a human thing and not a thing.

But you now see how some people here feel they might somehow be above someone else just because of their standing within . Screw em...
