NAXJA is slow loading pages!

Anybody else having issues? Mine will load slow or not load at all, its happening on all of my comps so I wonder if its the site, my provider or my wireless router?

If I make a post it will not load either, I have to click off of NAXJA and re-log in to see if the post took.
 
It's the site. Don't log off and don't click refresh- thats what's hurting the server! Just be patient. It's frustrating, I know. All will get better eventually.
 
OK thanks, I just started experiancing this a week ago so I thought it could be on my end.

I'll resort back to my dial-up days, point, click and take a nap or get something to eat or maybe read a book! LOL!
 
1) Apparently, we're having issues with dropped packets to the server. Be patient, and allow your browser to give up completely before you hit "reload" - or you end up either flooding the server with packets (when they catch up,) or your post gets replicated excessively (making work for mods, who have to clean it up later.)

2) Non-tech isn't exactly the place for website enquiries - User Support is. So, I'll be requesting this thread be moved there when I've done... (Making work for mods again, I see...)

Honestly I was just on the verge of posting a thread myself about this same issue then I thought twice and checked the support forum. Do you know what all will be involved with resolving this issue? Software configuration or is different hardware needed?

That's highly variable, and depends entirely upon where the problem actually is. If it's internal to the ISP, then they'll have to handle it. If it's the backbone, then Gawd alone knows when.

The only thing that Jeff seems to be certain of at this point is that it is not in the server, which limits his options. All we really can do at this point is be patient and wait. I don't know what other servers are colocated with ours, so I'm not in a position to help with troubleshooting (and I'm sure Jeff has already thought of that idea anyhow...)
 
I justed posted in the members forum & would like some answers about all this Yahoo scanning the site. It just seems that it could slow the site too.
Anyone?
