NAXJA Give-A-Way Rig - Group trip to San Jose to deliver bumpers and contribute

Folks,

Our local sponsor, Dirtbound Offroad aka Max, has donated a front and a rear bumper to the Give-A-Way rig we are building for the Anniversary Fall Fling event.

We were hoping 3 or 4 guys could caravan to San Jose with the bumpers, work a weekend and come home. Tim (knucklehead) says he has plenty of space in the shop for folks to crash out and spend the night (bring air mattresses).

If someone down here wants to volunteer a truck and trailer, we also could use the rig trucked down to SoCal after the weekend. If this happens SoCal would finish building the XJ before it is brought to Moab.

I am trying to set up a weekend in early May with Tim. Anyone interested?

Thank you for those of you who are helping arrange a 'train' up there and we may take you up with it but we were really hoping to get some folks from SoCal to work together with the Sierra chapter while it is up in San Jose.

Tentatively May 4/5 or 18/19. (May 12th is Mothers day so nothing on that weekend).

I think we'll need the XJ brought down here to SoCal in May :cheers:

We can work on it down here and get it done for 'Phase 2' of the build.

'Phase 2' will consist of mostly accessories as the suspension and drivetrain have been completed by our friends to the north.
