NAXJA forums are way quiet these days

Older vehicles, facebook, a plethora of forums dedicated to jeeps, XJ's, and people move on. Its the plague of every forum I have been part of for the last 15 years.

Facebook really does seem to be the nail in the coffin right now. Give them a few more years to hang themselves with TOS changes, and affirmative action due to pressure from small yet loud groups.

Im about 3 more stupid ideas away from deleting facebook...

I dont think its facebook since "C" and "J" forums did not fall off as much and they are much more susceptible to losing beginners and casuals to facebook. This place has always been a little intimidating to newbies because of the relatively high technical level so maybe the casuals have moved to the others, but that leaves the question of where did intermediate and advanced go... from what I see the others have not upped their game to match the level of expertise here. Maybe they all sold their XJs and bought framed jeeps, or bought minivans.

Just like video killed the radio star, Facebook killed the use groups. Soon Facebook will only play reality shows for teens and every one will come back.

The younger crowd has moved to cell phones, texting and video-youtube, not just facebook.
