Dunno - but you're probably getting an increase in mineral input, which means an increase in mineral output. Are you still drinking the same amount (roughly) of water? What colour was your urine before?

Assuming you're not taking anything that would change the colour (like methylene blue...) healthy urine output should be a pale straw yellow. Too yellow, and you're not getting enough water. Clear, and you're drinking too much. It's a useful way to monitor your fluid balance.

Dr, House says if it tastes bad it's likely a kidney problem, if it tastes like water you have water on the brain. So you either need a trasnplant or a hole drilled in your head to relieve the pressure.
Only one way to know for sure, the taste test.

Go ahead and take some of that medicine for a bladder infection. You pee turns dark orange and will stain a towlette bowl... You could kill somone wiht that.

And i've taken medicine in the past that had the same effect on me....kinda makes you feel like an oompa loompa.

I get the same thing. I take a multi vit. in the morning and between that and the coffee mine is bright yellow for the first pee of the day then dark yellow for the second. By then I've had 4 to 6 cups of water by lunch so it's back to normal.

I drank one of those monster energy drinks and thought I my pee was going to glow in the dark after that. Makes for a great nightlight in the middle of the night. Well that is if you can get to sleep after slamming one of those.

I had asparagus last wed for dinner, and OMFG! I took a pee the next morning and the smell was NASTY and it was dark brown. Everytime I eat asperagus broccoli and okra man my pee stinks.

We were over at my partents house last night. I went to pee. I was standing there peeing and looked down to see my urine stream was a very strange very blue color. Ended up it was the night light shining throuhgh my urine stream, making it look blue.
