I do want to go, although I'd prefer to meet at/on the trail. I certainly like the comment about chainsScrappy said:make sure you have chains...
Who is wanting to go?

Owners manual says you should put them on the rear only.JoesXJ said:is it recomended for 1 (2 back tires) or 2 (all 4 tires) sets of chains?
Do you mean the last episode with 3 guys digging and 2 jeeps pulling me out ?Ben H said:Slonopotam made it further than anyone last time, and he was the only rig wearing chains.

However, look at this guy from WA.

You can clearly see the chains on the front as well.
I'd say it's probably not a good idea to run chain on the front on road. I am also afraid that if I put them offroad, they will catch on the swaybar links or the body.

I believe Bryan showed great technique and got at least as far as I did. I also remember some really amazing truck going up pretty well. Then I got busy digging![]()

I have a buddy with a YJ that ran chains front and rear on his 31" AT tires. That thing did really good, well until he lost 2 of them in some slush.

That was some NASTY slush! I think he was stuck even if he had all 4 in that ugly mess! But the 4 did work great earlyer in the day in just the snow and up out of the mud.

Chuck are you going also??
I will bring both Co2 and compressor so we should be covered.

So I am more than likely out. Does anyone in the central valley (Frenso, Madera, Clovis ect..) have a spare not TRE trackbar that I can borrow or buy? I can pay you in a week.
