My new XJ

What did you change to get the H1 rims on the rear? Nice build. Be intresting to see how the D44 does with the klune and the d300. :)

just did the ballistic fab 14 bolt disc brake kit. they bolted right up. had to change the wheels thou, too much backspacing...so the rims contacted the heims on the steering. they worked great on the rear, i wish i could have used them because ive got the run flat inserts for them. you lookin to run them? yea i hope it'll hold up...i dont really trash my jeep offroad, though i will give it a good bump here and there :)

I do run them. Had to recenter them though. Mine would not bolt up to the rear they contacted the leaf spring. They clear everywhere else. If I ever go to 4 link rear I'll run them without re centering. I could inboard the leafs and run them but by the time I do that I could do a 4 link. Then again the 4 link would cost money the inboard of the leafs would not. I have plenty of steel around to do it.

im in west virginia now for a weeks vacation....

today we did ziplining, and went out to the Good Evening ranch and rode a bit with the Mountaineer offroad club. here's a video of me testing the low low range:

that's it???

i could do that with my XJ on 3" and 32s...

not if you saw what was on the other side....its steeper than it looks as well. besides, this was my first real test of everything on the jeep after redoing it all. im tryin to make sure everything is working well for the jamboree

In your defense, we weren't there and we all know that the camera never does it justice. However, I really wouldn't consider that a "test". You could have done the same amount of testing in your driveway or at the local elementary school. :shhh:

Actually it was a test, i finished building the front driveshaft right before i left (along with a lot of other things), i didnt have time to test 4wheel, and that was the first time in 7 months its seen dirt. what the hell would you call it?

and seriously, stop with the dumbass elementary school crap. its not funny, and im tired of it.

I understand it was a test. Sorry about the comment...

On the other hand... I think you should paint the wheels black. But it does look good. Cant wait to see a couple of flex shots.

Its not a real test. Hell, a tooth pick driveshaft held together with duct tape would have held up to what you did. A real test is driving 4 hours to go wheel, beat the shit out of it, and then driving it home. That's a test. Yours was more like a quiz. lol.

The only reason the elementary stuff is funny is because you make such a big deal about it every time it's brought up.

Let us know how it does on the real test when you go to the jamboree.

why do you have to be such a douche bag all the time? you wanna make fun of me an my jeep, fine, but do it to my face, then we'll see what happens. otherwise, just shut the hell up. im done talkin to u.

Im not making fun of your jeep...

And you call me a douche bag to my face and see what happens you half ass SOB. Then I really would have a reason to laugh wouldn't I.

Then only thing I have even given you crap about is you track bar, that's it. And, you have to admit its not ideal. It will work just fine as long as you preheated the casting like you should have, and from what you said you did. You should really stop taking everything I say so seriously and learn to take a joke. There's nothing wrong with trying out your Klune on a big ass rock to make sure everything is working correctly, but personally I would post up a 30 second video of me climbing something easy and then go showing it off. We don't care about that... like other have said: "That's it???"

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, Im just a picky ass perfectionist, and when I see stuff that isn't done in the best way available, Im gonna point it out. And if I do something that's not ideal, or isn't the best solution (yes, I admit I'm not perfect, happy now?) I damn sure don't go posting it ip for the world to see.

Sorry!!! :bawl:

well as it turns out...nothing broke on my 'half assed' jeep. we wheeled two of the hardest trails at the jamboree, wheeled at the good evening ranch, and did some trail riding in green bank, and everything worked perfectly. it even drove just fine on the street to the trails, if a little slowly.

my only issues: slight leak from dana 300 speed sensor hole, easy fix...
and i need to adjust the steering a bit, since i can turn a bit more to the right then the left.

few shots from woolys, did almost every trail there, nearly rolled 3 times, but it was fun. gotta get the rest of the pics from my buddy who rode along:
