My new toy

wow, did someone chew on those fenders to cut them?

good score with the sunroof though.

some junkyard fenders and some rattle can and it'd make a nice DD.

lol, yeah, they got a bit wild with the nibbler, but they are going to stay that way, this is a play toy, and maybe parts for other one if something breaks. It does need the rear lifted a tad as it squats in the back. When they kifted it they only did the front ?? not sure why though.
The TC I traded for it needed LOTS of work, including replacing the intake, repairing all the body mounts, new floors redo the fuel tank and put a real roll cage in it. This needs breaks, a few things tightened up, maybe rear u-joints and the brakes. The only metal work it needs is both bumpers and a little reapair of the back floor. It starts up quick, and runs nicely, at the moment better than the daily driver which suddenly came up with a low RPM miss, bad plug or wire is my guess.

BTW, whats up with these charging systems and gas gauges? Neither one works right. The daily driver shows about 12 volts or less, yet is charging at 13.8 while this one shows 14 volts and is actually putting out 10 volts. Both gas gauges barely go over 1/4 tank when full. Obviously this one needs a new alternator (which I have) but it seems weird that these gauges are so far off....is this normal?

ha Looks like mine....

That may not last long.....I have some plans for it, including a complete repaint. The front and rear bumpers are going to be replaced with something more abusive, maybe a winch up front and some interior protection.... who knows yet.

nice lookin dog.
we just picked up another dachshund.

I have a thing for Rotwiellers but always end up with mixed breeds, this one of course is part Pitbull, and the one she replaced was part Lab, he wasn't as big but man was he a neat dog. A bit too smart for his own good as he could unlook the door and open it....until I changed the door knob. Both dogs are great with kids, although she tends to knock them down and lick them. Strangers though are another story :skull2:
I could never handle small dogs, they are too noisey, while this one rarely barks....but she snores very loudly!

rocky doesn't bark. He's trained to bark when he goes outside and that's it. My friends that have knocked when no one was home have told me that he barks then. Other than that, quiet as a mouse.
and when he does it's not a yippy bark. He's a hound afterall.

The miniature we'll have to see about, but so far he's been quiet through the night.

Your lucky, a friend has two of them and they bark constantly. Cassie is cool because she won't bark when I am gone, so if someone gets in they are in for a surprise :) She basically barks when there is an animal out back or if someone pulls in the driveway and I'm asleep, thens it's just enough to wake me but not so the visitor will hear. If that doesn't work she licks my face till I wake up :( I swear that tounge is 10 inches long

It will be interesting to take her wheeling, she likes barking and growling at other vehicles....
