how do i go about quoting multiple people in 1 reply?
i often see someone reply to 3 different people in 1 reply

" blah blah blah" quote by ....

yes.

"do do do dodo do" quote by *****

absoltly not.

and how do i change the color of my text and the size of my text?

thanks
Harold

The easiest way is, when you click on "Quote" copy all the text you want to reply to. Then go click on "Quote" for the other post you want to reply to. After responding to that post, paste the text from the first post and reply to that.

Basically, you just need to make sure you have the text you want to quote between the quote tags
PHP:
[quote=somebody]Quoted text goes here[/quote]
Reply goes down here.

Going with what Billy said, it's also possible to 'nest' quotes, so you can quote someone who quoted someone else.

PHP:
[QUOTE=Person A]What he said.
[QUOTE=Person B]x2.[/QUOTE][/QUOTE]
will come out like this:
Person A said:
What he said.
Person B said:

Type your message, then select it and choose a new size or color from the drop-down menus just above the box where you type your message.

If you can't see them, click on 'User CP', then 'Edit Options', then scroll down to 'Miscellaneous Options' and change your 'Message Editor Interface' to 'Standard Editor - Extra Formatting Controls'. Then you will have the same sort of options that you do in a text editor like Microsoft Word.
