You cant compare 33x10.5X that you didnt really wheel compared to a 35x12.5Y you haven't wheeled much either.
I have never owned a kevlar tire, but I have wheeled with a lot of people who run them and I haven't seen anything to be impressed on. Snow bashing = suck (Garret and Ben), Spring Creek = not good (Garret and Ben), Chinamans = not good (Mike) and from riding in the back of my dads jeep (has the MTR W/K) they are loud as heck and feel like a rock hard compound.
I have ran KM2s in 33x10.5 on 15x8 d windows and 35x12.5 on 15x10 beadlocks. I have been nothing but blown away by them. I ran the 33"s in the May moab spring fling, Colorado fest, and on random trails 1-2 times a month from anything like penrose- snow bashing and they always rocked! The one time I hated them was in penrose, but I am sure when it is as muddy as it was, nothing would grip. The 35"s are insane and they grab everything and rock, and snow bashing they are awesome, no complaints, except that they grip to much sometimes.
I know I just compared something I am very familiar with to something I have never personally dealt with besides on the highway. I don't understand why everyone is riding Goodyears nuts with the Kevlars, just seems like everyone wants to be cool so they get those tires.
Although I do admit I am jealous of the MTR w/K sticky 42s that my friend Darren has, those are the sickness.
