Hey guys Ive been here a while, mostly on the SoCal page. Ive recently decided to get out of Dodge (California) and move to the place where the beer flows like wine (Dumb and Dumber) Colorado. Castle Rock Colorado to be exact. Ill be moving this fall sometime and NEED to know a couple of things first. Where to wheel?!?!? I know there are a ton of places in Colorado to do this but I was wondering if there were any places within, say, an hour of Castle Rock? Thanks guys and I look foward to wheelin with ya!!

For stuff close to Castle Rock...
Go west
-front range, not too extreme, very close to you. Drive up Dakan or Rd or whatever else you see.
Go to Denver, then west
Go to Boulder, then west
Go to Colorado Springs, then west
-not as interesting

will be helpful once you learn where all the counties are, because that is how trails are listed on this site

castle rock eh?

if you see a big green XJ w/ "bigoffroad" stickers, turn and run... ;)
(or steal his plate).

seriously though i'm sure johnjohn can hook you up w/ the trails.

welcome to CO.

When you get here and are ready to wheel, post up here or go to Yahoo groups "coloradoXJ"

They are a bunch of good folks as well, many are members here. I can't wait until RedCone opens up. That is one of my favorite trails. Not hard, but real pretty. The nice thing about Colorado you can have a choie or one or the other, or both. Watch for ColoradoFest comming up. The home base is only about 3 hours from CastleRock

Hopefully, he has a bunch of California equity with which to price locals out of the market. Then the locals will have to move to Idaho, where the locals will bitch about getting priced out of their market by fawking Coloradoans.

Not sure where the Idahoans will go though? Canada?
