Who hoo! Thanks for bringing it back Ryan!

It's amazing how little it has changed in 40 years or so...

That juniper doesn't look any taller but it seems to have gotten larger in diameter...
I love these old shots and the two shots of then and now, wow those are just great. You look and really the only thing that has changed is the rig’s today we tend to think we need bigger but sometimes I wonder if we’re not missing out on something. These guys probably took an hour to get over something that today we would just push a button to lock up and be on our way. Thank You for sharing these photo’s it reminds me why I got into this way life in the first place.

I agree gabe.. great shots. What kills me is what appears to be the same dead tree leaning against the rock just above rig in both pics...

Any more?

It was such a neat picture, I couldn't help color correcting it a little bit

Tom, that is the Devil's Pocket on the Elephant Hill trail in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park.

Somehow I always manage to have my Jeep at the back of the line when we stop there. :D It is also interesting to see the evolution of the quality of photos produced by the various cameras I have used through the years...

2008: Nikon D700- 12 mp

Ryan... update?! I'm jones'n here.

Ive been working on some stuff but honestly, I just don't have the time right now.

The state just bought my grandparents house. We had to go clean everything out and while we were in the basement we came across about 50-60 boxes of old slides.

Not all of them have old Jeeps in them but most of them are in Southern Utah long before the Feds ruined the area.

more!!!! please!!!!!
I love the old pics/new pics.
some from photobucket are expired or something.
