thinking about heading that way here sometime before it snows... no date picked as of yet, just tossing the idea out there. kinda hoping some of the Reno guys will chime in on this one....

dude i'm soo down for moon rocks. I love that place. You have fun crawling that you have to get technical w/ and cool high speed shit. Its great. I'm completely booked for every weekend in october but i can do most of november. I like being close to Reno to open up the option to party there for a night.

only pics i have of moon rocks is when i was way less built, i really need to start carrying my camera more.

Give us a date, Are you thinking of camping or just a day run? I am only 20 min's from moon rocks.
We can also run Steve's loop that is close to moon rocks.

i've been out there when its been snowy and i didn't like it. There were two other groups of wheelers stuck and i couldn't get to them to help out. sucked... something eery and creepy that makes wheeling in the open desert w/ snow unnerving. If its snowy i'd rather stick to mormon emigrant trail.

Don't forget in November is the big GoatFest in Johnson Valley, that is a must if you have never been to the Hammers!
