Had a GREAT day today. Met some new people, played around in the sand and the hills, and had a wonderful BBQ at the end. And, only a few minutes from home. My new wife and I agree, we made a great choice of where to move.

Photos are not in any specific order. The ones with daughter and I greasing up the Jeep are from last night. Otherwise, all taken today.

Great pics, looks like you've got a great helper there :D

Every time I see someone with their hand on the window channel I cringe :shiver: guy at work lost 3 fingers that way flopping in a bronco in soft sand. Be careful!

Yeah, no kidding.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, I have to keep both hands on the wheel in mine... keeps em out of danger.

Those are good pictures Glenn, are there any rocks or difficult trails there or just hill climbs?

At that area, nope, no rocks. Hill climbs, sandy areas/trails, and arroyo to play in. Nothing technical, just a nice legal/local play area. Mostly quads and bikes. Have to pay attention, or go during the week.

There is another place, Rio Puerco that has some more technical stuff, but not too extreme. It is about 30 min from home... a good place to test out mods, etc... or enjoy a half day. Did not get many pics from my last trip out there. A few Moab-like slick rock things to play on.
