Mojave Cut & Fold Rear Bumper – Jeep Cherokee XJ

Any teaser pics of a tire carrier version? I love your bumper, but I need a tire carrier.
Sorry not yet, I hope to spend sat and sun to make a prototype.

If I purchased the rear bumper now can I add the tire carrier later?

I am debating making it a bolt on option, that way it could be mounted on the standard or cut and fold bumpers later on by drilling a few holes.
I also like the way it would be more modular and allow people to upgrade later.

I would definitely like that as an option to get later on....especially since I am having one built right now :)

Thats the plan, or at least to have a option for those features.

I will be back at the shop tomorrow and will start working on the tire carrier addon for it.

I'm looking forward to it. I currently have a c4x4 tire carrier/ bumper, but it's too heavy, and the bumper is too bulky.

One thing I LOVE about it though, is the swing out. I only like the centered tire design. (Much more OEM looking, like a wrangler, and better weight distribution)

Here's a good shot. I like my bumper, but I LOVE your cut and fold idea. I'd upgrade to yours if you could do a similar simple swingout.

Any update on the rear tire carrier version?

Almost done.
I am having a hard time deciding on the type of latch to use. I think I will try a push pull type.

Full adjustability, Tilts up to 25* on the top setting, has 3 height settings and allows for backspacing adjustment.

I wanted to go with a different look than most the tube carriers out there, this is very strong yet light weight.
