precursory overview of the jeep shows only slight carnage from moab...
most notably my broken shock:
somehow the stud backed its way out of the lower mount and during my JeepSpeed run
after pritchett i think the lower part of the shock worked its way off completely and then likely got caught between the axletube and either something on the ground, or, was compressed down against the tube over one of the whoop-de-doops.
...either way it sheared the shaft.
led/joey/jeff: looks like i'll be down in CS on monday to p/u a bike-- any chance any of youse would be available to take a look at that mount to see the best fix (i.e. weld i presume)?
other than that, the armor definitely took a beating-- my passenger rock rail got "adjusted" such that i couldn't open the door until we massaged it back into place w/ a pry bar. and i notice my gas tank skid definitely has some beauty marks that weren't there before.
all and all not bad at all considering the abuse this time out (street tires and all).
more pix later.
so how'd everyone else fare?
