Today, I'm announcing, on behalf of the The Sierra Chapter BOD, a new program aimed at expanding the club and incentivizing people to go RED (and stay RED).
This is a referral based program where each referral will result in one raffle entry for the referrer and one for the referee. Renewing members and members joining without a referral will also get one raffle entry. There will be no limit as to how many raffle entries one person can get - the more people they get to join, the more chances they have to win.
We want you to get creative in referring people; make fliers and/or business cards, give your friends a little extra push, hold meet-n-greets and runs (all you members in areas that we have a harder time reaching like Redding, Reno, and Tahoe have an advantage in that!), etc, etc. Everybody has different personalities, talents, resources, etc... let's see how you can use them to your (and
's) advantage!
As for the raffle, we are working on designs for the Sierra Chapter swag that we will be giving away. We are going to try to put some good prizes together and make this worth your while! We'll have a raffle once per quarter, so the first will be on September 1st. Depending on the results, we may have more than one winner.
To participate...
-Sign up, or renew your membership as usual, then post in THIS "contest log thread" to say that you've done so.
-Renewals cannot have a referrer attached. (Renewals are considered to be memberships that expired less than 6 months ago).
-If you are simply signing up or renewing without a referrer, you just have to post in the CONTEST LOG THREAD anytime before the drawing.
-If somebody did refer you to become a member, and you want them to get credit for it, you must post in the CONTEST LOG THREAD anytime before you go RED or within 12 (twelve) hours after you go RED.
-If you referred somebody and they didn't give you credit or they gave somebody else credit for it, (unless you can, somehow, prove it) you're SOL... Sorry!
-This contest is only open to Sierra Chapter members.
-RED or BLUE names only... forum supporter memberships don't count... sorry GREENIES!
-Your membership MUST be current at the time of the drawing in order to win. (We will post a reminder the drawing is coming up.)
