Only if the parking lot is equipped with enticing light poles :D

Is anybody planning on bringing some parts? I don't have much to offer but sure could use some xj stuff, I'm sure others are in the same boat?

Sorry if this was already mentioned.

Well, we're definitely locked for the meeting room at Medved, but I haven't heard from the cook yet. Probably a good thing since we have more and more people saying they're coming to the meeting each day.... I think were damn close to 50 now...

Just in case the cook flakes out, I'd like to have a contingency plan. Is anyone willing to grill? Can I get a couple people to be willing to be on stand-by to buy burgers, dogs, chips, soda and condiments? Also some people to bring grills....

Hopefully, I'll hear from the guy soon, but with the GM having told me he's asked the guy twice now to call, I'm not holding my breath. Either way, we're gonna need every one attending the meeting to plan on bringing a couple of bucks to chip in for the food.

If nothing comes together the week before the meeting, I'd like to be able to put the contingency plan into effect.

Any volunteers?

I need the $ to get my D44s in! :D

Troy, if need be, I can grill a burger or 50. Im thinking I can also get a couple charcoal grills, as long as my dad hasnt thrown them out.

Heh heh! I knew that the guy would probably call if I posted that! :laugh3:

Here's the deal:

The chef is willing to do one of two things, either a "hot" lunch of our choosing, or a "deli" lunch of sandwiches.

The hot lunch can be whatever we want for the most part, he said he could do spaghetti, lasagna, burritos, enchiladas, baked chicken, burgers, bbq chicken - pretty much what ever we wanted and do sides like potato salad, garden salad, rice, and then finish with cookies - drinks included.

The deli lunch would be deli meats and cheeses put out with bread and condiments, with chips, drinks, and cookies.

Hot lunch would be $7.50 per person, Deli would be $6.00

This is my thought: Since there's likely to be a large turn out for this meeting and we will be able to use their cafeteria, I say we have him do the hot lunch and do a combo of say, burgers and BBQ chicken or burritos.

If cost is a big deal to everyone, then I say we do our own grillin' - the deli option sounds kinda blah.

What do you guys think? I'd like to give him an answer by Fri, or Sat.

thanks troy!

i agree, the deli deal sounds less than appetizing... warm cheese and wilted ham :wierd:

my vote is for the extra buck fifty let's do the burgers and burritos.
