Certainly appreciate your support, but if you joined in March, a renewal in the same March would not count as an additional credit.

However, having joined in March, it puts you in prime position for renewing in next year's March Membership drive.

In the past we credit the chapter in the contest if you sign up twice in March.

However, you personally are only entered into the prize drawing once.

Thanx for the info on that. I wasnt' really renewing to get in on the drawing again, although I could see the benefits of it. I saw the Membership Drive thread and read that renewals counted, and thought, 'why not ask?'

A lot of the double memberships in March are folks that renew and then they had an auto subscription set up and it renews later. Most folks are good with the extra extension on their membership. So while we don't enter them twice in the prize drawing, we let both count toward the chapter competition.
