making a stock gas tank skid work....

so I got a stock gas tank skid from a 90 for free and was going to put It on my 99, I was going to beef It up first with some welded 1/4" steel plates to the outside...

I know some trimming has to be done to make It fit on a 97+ but where do I need to trim to make It fit? Also on my 99 the driver side frame rail with the wholes for the gas tank skid to bolt up dont have nuts welded down in them like the 90 I pulled the gas tank skid from, how should I get It to mount on my 99 for the passenger side?

nm, Im kickin my self for askin, I searched a bit and found out It aint worth the hastle, I'll sell It to cover some costs for a 97+ aftermarket skid, also found out the driverside needs nutstrips....
