Re: LUVMYJP Plate Tour 2005

Looks like they pooched the spacing on the letters but at least it should keep the non-detail oriented lawmen from keying on the lack of front taggage whilst the real plate is globetrotting......

I don't think the lawmen will care, or even notice. :)

I'm real tempted to turn you in. I don't agree with breaking the law (or whatever that might be) any any way shape of form. Straight and narrow I tell you.

How do you figure it's fictitious?

Buuuuut it reads the same as the rear plate. The rear plate is a real sequence issued by the DMV, it is not "fictitious". Therefore the "copy" now displayed on the front of the vehicle is not fictitious.

Of, relating to, or characterized by fiction; imaginary.

Adopted or assumed in order to deceive;formed or conceived by the imagination;adopted in order to deceive.

BTW,
It is because I have been reading the thread that I know the plate is not fictitious. Sorry.

Re: LUVMYJP Plate Tour 2005

I wonder if I could plead down the to the "fictitious plate" charge if I got a photo radar ticket showing this front plate. I doubt it. I think the state would issue the ticket and hold me to a speeding charge. Assuming that would be the case, that alone would tell a judge that the state recognizes the plate by the order of the letters alone. Under Troy's agreement, every image of the plate is fictitious. So would a photo of the plate also be considered fictitious? I photo radar picture of the plate fictitious? No the order of the letters is what state officials look at. Could I be charged, absolutely, would I be charged, unlikely.

Like most of Troy's posts...we will continue to be hasta . As usual common sense is thrown out the window for the fun of argument. Let's move on.
